Built in 1952, the Gorse Child Study Center was a gift of trustee Florence Gorse Smith, class of 1916, as a memorial to her father, Frank Washington Gorse. It replaced the nursery school in Hitchcock House. I had no images of the Gorse Child Study Center in my collection, so I took this photo on September 7, 1998.
