New Location of South Cottage

History

South Cottage was acquired in 1898. It was former Estabrook property on College Street, and was used for student housing at this location until 1912, when it was moved across Morgan Street to become part of "Smithville". This is the location of the cottage after its move. I had no photos of South Cottage in my collection, so I took this one on September 7, 1998.
