As one of the most diverse and international liberal arts colleges in the nation, Mount Holyoke celebrates the world.

The College's cultural centers offer students a way to share and explore cultures. These centers, which are open to all MHC students, are places to socialize, cook, and host parties. (In fact, the cultural centers are known for having some of the best parties on campus!) Mount Holyoke also is home to Wa-Shin-An, an authentic meditation garden and teahouse where students can participate in weekly tea ceremonies and experience non-Western spiritual traditions. In addition, students can get involved in all kinds of cultural and ethnic student organizations, ranging from the Raunak Bhangra Dance Team to VIDA, a literary magazine in multiple languages.
