Foreign Fellowship Program
Eva Paus, Director of the McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives,
with former Mount Holyoke Foreign Fellows in Leipzig, Germany (June 2005)
Each year Mount Holyoke College offers a limited number of resident Foreign Fellowships to women whose native language is Italian or Spanish. Foreign Fellows pursue a full course of study at the College, while working for six to eight hours each week in their respective language departments. Foreign Fellowships are awarded on a competitive basis to students who have successfully completed at least one year of university-level studies, whose previous school and university record reflects outstanding achievement, and who plan to return to live and work in their own countries after the completion of their studies in the United States. The fellowships cover the cost of tuition, room, and board for one academic year, plus a stipend.
