Gifts of Personal Property
Contact Us
Gifts of valuable tangible personal property, such as artwork, jewelry, or rare books, can make wonderful charitable gifts. If your gift is for a purpose related to Mount Holyoke's educational mission, it could be a welcome addition to the College's resources and you would receive a charitable deduction for the full market value of the object as determined by a qualified independent appraiser. If you are considering donating an item that is unrelated to the College's mission, please give us a call. There may be ways in which you can turn that item into an outright gift or a life-income gift.
