Reaccreditation
On February 28, 2008 the Commission on Insitutions of Higher Education of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEAS&C) continued Mount Holyoke's accreditation. The College will submit an interim report in 2012 and undergo another comprehensive evaluation in Fall 2017. See the Commission's actions and recommendations for Mount Holyoke College
From October 14 through 17, 2007, an evaluation team was on campus to meet with community members and review the College's self-study and supporting materials. See the team's report (PDF)
The members of the evaluation team were:
- Nancy Dye (Chair), Former President, Oberlin College
- Elizabeth Boylan, Provost, Barnard College
- James Fergerson, Director of Institutional Planning & Analysis, Bates College
- Laura Gordon Fisher, Associate Dean of the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Harvard University
- Robert M. Johnson, Vice President Information Services, Rhodes College
- Paul Maroni, Vice President for Finance, Connecticut College
- Karen Tidmarsh, Dean of the Undergraduate College, Bryn Mawr College
- Don Wyatt, Professor of History, Middlebury College
Mount Holyoke completed its self-study (PDF; on campus only) in July, 2007. In the self-study, the College responded to eleven standards that prescribe general principles of institutional form, function, and effectiveness.
