Opening/Closing Dates 2009 - 2010

These dates are tentative and subject to change:

Opening

Breaks

Mid-semester Break
Saturday, October 10th - Tuesday, October 13th	All residence halls are open. Meals are served.
November Break
Wednesday, November 25th - Sunday, November 29th	All residence halls are open. No meals are served until dinner on Sunday.
December Break
Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 12 noon - Sunday, January 3, 2010 at 9:00 am	All residence halls are closed beginning Wednesday, December 23rd at 12 noon. Students with late 5 College exams will have a closing extension.  Wilder hall will remain open only for domestic and international students whose families live abroad. No meals are served.
January Term & January Break
J-Term: Monday, January 4th - Friday, January 22nd         Sunday, January 24, 2010 Monday, January 25, 2010	All residence halls open on Sunday, January 3rd at 9:00 am. Meals will be served beginning with dinner on Sunday, January 3rd.  New students and students returning from leaves/abroad arrival dates listed below.   All students going on leave for Spring 2010 semester must vacate their rooms by 5 pm on Friday, January 22nd.  December Graduates must vacate their rooms on Wednesday, December 23rd at 12 noon. Arrival date for all New Students Arrival date for students returning from leaves and study abroad.
March Break
Saturday, March 13th - Sunday, March 21st	All residence halls are open. No meals are served

End of Year Closing
Friday, May 14th	All Residence halls close at 12 noon. Except for seniors, approved reunion workers and students with late 5-College exams.
Monday, May 24th	All residence halls close at 12 noon for seniors and reunion I workers.
Monday, May 31st	Reunion II workers residence hall closes at 12 noon.
