The "$5 Photo Company" Series

[Skinner Hall]

History

At this time, I know nothing more about this company than its name: $5 Photo Company, Photo Park, Canton, NY. One of the cards is dated 1957; the others I have are not postally used.

The Images

All cards are available with both front and back scans, and comments about what is written on the front or back, either by the user or by the publisher, are included below.

Mary E. Woolley Hall
front "Mary E. Woolley Hall, Mount Holyoke College."
back Divided back, stamp box, unused. Photo postcard on Kodak paper. Name change of the building implies this card is post-1945.

"Congratulations and condolences to the acting dean of the college of Engineering. I hope it will not rob you of all your domestic life and your publications. Mildred Hinsdale sent me such a good picture and "story" from a local newspaper. She keeps me up to date on all my friends in Ann Arbor. I still hope to come to Michigan later, but I cannot be sure. My regards to all the family. Grace M. Bacon"
