This album did not have a nameplate in it, but the compiler put little checkmarks on one particular woman in many of the snapshots, and identified her as LMO in others. It was also clear that it was someone associated with the class of 1909, and Lillian May Osgood is the only member of the class of 1909 with those initials. Her entry in the biographical directory reveals she lived in Honolulu for a while, and some of the latter photos are in Honolulu. There are many photos from Castine, Maine in this album as well, which appears to be a favorite summer vacation spot of Lillian's.
I scanned this album page by page, since it was a small one. There is only one blank page in the album, and I did not include that.
Update April 2009: Karen Austin contacted me and verified that this was indeed an album compiled by her grandmother Lillian May Osgood. She also informed me that Lillian was working at the Torii Shop and Tea Room in Castine, Maine; it was not a vacation spot for her. I appreciate being able to expand on the information listed here; the MHC biographical directory did not have her employment in Castine listed in her entry. Thank you, Karen!
